•59% of these struggling households have experienced a decline in their financial situation since the pandemic. •A total of 7% of Jewish households in Metropolitan Chicago are below 200% of the federal poverty level, including 3% that are below 100% of the federal poverty level. • Five percent of Jewish adults identify as LGBTQ, and 9% of Jewish households have a member who identifies as LGBTQ (who may or may not be Jewish).They indicated that the overall community was generally safe and accepting but that it sometimes lacked inclusive programming and institutional support for LGBTQ Jewish spaces. • Nineteen percent of Jewish households spend more than 30% of their income on housing costs.
